Recovery miles in the wind
Distance: 4.5 miles
Time: 37 mins
Route: Arthur A
Tonight's run was at a fairly comfortable pace, but into a brutal wind once again for part of the route which made it tougher than a recovery run would ideally be. My legs felt OK after yesterday's 20 miler - no aches or pains, but they did feel a little "heavy".
My race number arrived for the forthcoming 10k.

Well done on sticking to it :-)
I hate it when the winds in your face all the time - it never really seems in the right direction :-P
Watcha Steve,
Have to say a big thanks for putting that link for Gmaps Pedometer up. I came across your site looking for routes around Edinburgh. That is exactly what I was looking for.
I'm signed up for June 11th aswell and have been steadily increasing the miles. Have done a couple of 20 milers now but along the Union canal which I dont think is very representative (having no elevation change).
Where do you go for your longer runs?
Catcha,
Ferg.
